Broken Vacuum

This week our vacuum cleaner went on the fritz. I could deal with the dirty rug for a day or two. But now I am going crazy. Unfortunately, we are going to have to haul it way downtown to get it looked at for a repair. What happened to people having the same vacuum cleaner for 15 years? We have only had this one since our wedding 2-1/2 years ago! Oh, well. They just don't make things like they used to, I guess!
