Hardwood Floors, and Registers to Match

My Mom is the queen of spray paint. She always thinks of great ways to use it to make projects easier. It was her idea to use oil-rubbed bronze spray paint to transform our ugly rusty brass register covers. Unfortunately, in the rush to get lots of stuff done in a short amount of time, I don't have a "before" picture to show you. But you can see in the "after" pictures how well the old register covers blend into our ebony floors. This is a super easy fix that anyone can do in an hour.
Man, these pictures will look a whole lot better when I get the new baseboards in!

  1. Very elegant indeed and the way it matches different furniture to add beauty to your home is truly undeniable. There are also several ways to protect this vibrant look and I guess the best way is to invest for appliance movers.

  2. This is not the first time I am visiting your blog. I love to see the way your house transforms into a beautiful home. This is a great idea to add your covers a new shine and look. Quick and effective. Thanks for sharing. I cannot wait to see your finished room. I am so excited about your ebony wood floor.

  3. Those are actually very cute patterns and they do blend in beautifully in this new color. Go Mom + spray paint!!

  4. Hi Kendall,

Your mother is a genius! They completely match the new look of the hardwood flooring. Good job.

  5. I think blogging is a must for most businesses, not just construction....
