I normally wait until I'm finished with a book before I post about it. But, I am half-way through this one and I cannot put it down. It is too good. I'm a huge fan of travel memoirs, and didn't even realize that that's what Eat Pray Love is until I happened into the Strand last weekend. Elizabeth Gilbert is the real deal.

Oh my gosh!!! I just started reading this on Monday and Im half way through as well! That is too funny! It is really good, but Im ready for her to get out of India, It's not as interesting as Italy!
ReplyDeleteI am dying to read this. How have I not read this yet? I'm a slacker!
ReplyDeleteHeather, what perfect timing! I agree that the Italy portion was really great.
ReplyDeleteShari, you should jump on reading this one before the Julia Roberts movie version comes out. I don't think a movie will do this one justice. Kind of like Under the Tuscan Sun by Frances Mayes. I loved Diane Lane but the movie just wasn't quite as good as the book...
Kendall,
