I'm starting to accumulate some accessories for our apartment. I've started visiting some of the long-lost stores that I didn't have in NYC. For starters I've been to HomeGoods and Big Lots. I know. Big Lots is not the most chic store in the world. But I stopped in this morning to check it out and was surprised to see that they're trying to step it up a notch with their home accessories.
I bought all of these goodies between the two stores and only spent about $100 total for all nine things. You can't beat that. I'd have to say that my favorite item is the pair of bookends from HomeGoods. $12.99 each!

You got some wonderful things for $100. The book ends are very cool and I love the bowl!! The glass box looks amazing...what am I saying? When I saw the picture I glanced around and honestly liked every piece. Good for you - it's always great to find the best stuff!!

You know, it's funny, when I lived in NYC, I LIVED to go visit my parents in Ft. Myers where they had Homegoods, Ross, TJ Maxx, etc. I did more home shopping down there than in the city, and just would ship whatever I bought back to NY! Big Lots actually does have some cool stuff, shocker! Glad you're settling in! XX!
ReplyDeletenice finds!! i love those bookends -- just think how much they would cost in a fancy little shop! have you picked out any furniture?
