I Have An Etsy Shop!

Ok, everybody. This is a new little project I'm starting. I've posted a very few items on my Etsy shop. Right now it's vintage uncancelled postage stamps to use for mailing special invitations, cards and notes. I can do custom quantites! I'll keep you posted as I add more items over the course of the next week or two. We'll see how it goes!

This is one of my favorite projects I've finished since we moved into the house. I found this old school AV cart at a yardsale for $30. It was a dirty, rusty mess with tape and stickers stuck all over it. A little goo gone, sandpaper, primer and spray paint and it's brand new!

Luxe Bar on the Cheap

I was given the task today to kit out a luxe southern-style bar for under $500. I hit up a local antique mall in search of lots of inexpensive silver and crystal. I think I'm well on my way!

New Blog Header

Bear with me as I make a few changes around here. I have an awesome new blog header designed by my friend Meagan Wirrick. It's a little fuzzy, which I need to figure out how to correct. But I'm working on it!

Those of you with blogs, do you have any tips? My file is crisp and clear until it gets into Blogger...there's always something I can't figure out! :)

Mailing with Vintage Stamps

I have a new obsession with vintage stamps. How fantastic do these little thank you notes look with multiple pretty stamps that add up to current postage rates? I had fun mixing and matching the subjects and postage amounts to get them just right! You have to lick them to stick and everything! Love them.

Oktoberfest

Kane and I drove to Clarksville, Tennessee (an hour north of Nashville) this weekend for Oktoberfest. It was such a good time! The weather was chilly, and it was fun to bundle up in our coats for the first time this fall! We've decided that we definitely need to make it to the real Oktoberfest one of these days!

The schnitzel and potato salad was incredible, but I chose to forego the sauerkraut. :)

Best Red Wine Sangria Recipe

I made this easy Sangria recipe last weekend. It's super tasty and really pretty in a clear drink dispenser! I will definitely be making it again, and I highly recommend it if you're a Sangria fan!

Mix the following ingredients:
2 bottles Spanish red wine
1 cup brandy
1/2 cup triple sec
1 cup orange juice
1 cup pomegranate juice
2 oranges, sliced
2 apples, sliced
1 container blackberries
1 bunch grapes, sliced in half

Seal the container and refrigerate for 24 hours before serving.
Enjoy!
