What a fun, fun read! I picked up Wildwood at Parnassus Books because of Grace Bonney (of Design Sponge) and her recommendation of it. It didn't disappoint! The characters are sweet and the setting - the 'Impassable Wilderness' outside of Portland, OR - is magic. But what I love about it most is that it's a collaboration between a husband and wife author and illustrator, Colin Meloy and Carson Ellis. How great is that?
